The Asian Chess Federation has issued a decision appointing the President of the Saudi Chess Federation, Mohammed bin Mutlaq Al-Masoudi, as a member of the Asian Chess Federation's Executive Office, in addition to assigning him to chair the Electronic Chess Committee.

This appointment comes as a confirmation of the trust that Al-Masoudi enjoys at the continental level, and in appreciation of his efforts in supporting and developing the sport of chess, which contributes to strengthening institutional work and advancing the electronic chess system in Asia.

A new addition to the presence of Saudi competencies

Al-Masoudi's joining the Executive Office is a new addition to the presence of Saudi competencies in leadership positions in continental and international sports federations.

It also reflects the growing status of the Saudi Chess Federation and its active role in developing the game and enhancing its presence at the regional and international levels.
