Abdul Karim Darisi, a player from Al-Hilal's first football team, became the sixth player to leave the Blues in the current summer transfer window after his club officially announced on Tuesday his loan to Abha for one season. Darisi joins five players who left Al-Hilal in July: Mohammed Al-Qahtani and Brazilian Marcos Leonardo, who moved to Al-Qadsiah and Ajax Amsterdam respectively, Spanish Pablo Mari whose contract ended, and Ahmed Abu Raseen and Abdullah Radif, whose departures were announced by the club on July 7. Al-Hilal bid farewell to its player via its official account on the 'X' platform, wishing him success in his new journey. For its part, Abha club wrote on its official account on the same platform: 'With the shirt of Abha.. the challenge begins.. Abdul Karim Darisi is Abhaawi.. A thousand welcomes.' The transfer of the 23-year-old player to Abha confirms what Al-Riyadiah newspaper reported on July 14, when it headlined: 'Al-Hilal loans Darisi to Abha,' and revealed, citing private sources in the context of the news, that Al-Hilal's management agreed to loan Abdul Karim Darisi, its first-team player, to Abha for one season, adding that the capital club's management aims to give the player an opportunity to play as a starter at another club during the new season after his chances diminished with the Blues. Darisi joined Al-Hilal last summer on a free transfer under a contract extending for five seasons, coming from Al-Ahli, and wore the Blues' jersey in 28 matches.
