Al-Diriyah club has moved closer to completing a new deal during the summer transfer window, having reached an agreement with French club Metz to sign Senegalese talent Alpha Toure, as part of its efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the upcoming season.

The French newspaper L'Equipe reported that the deal is valued at around 7 million euros, a step reflecting Al-Diriyah's direction towards attracting young players with promising potential.

Despite reaching an agreement with the French club, the final conclusion of the deal remains dependent on winning the competition with English club West Ham United, which has also entered the negotiations and expressed interest in signing the player.

As part of preparations for the new season, Al-Diriyah has set an intensive program for its external training camp, including five friendly matches.

The team starts its matches in Sweden against Trelleborg on July 18.

The team then moves to Spain to complete the second phase of the camp, where it faces Qatari club Al-Rayyan on July 30, then meets Emirati club Al-Ain on August 2, which is the scheduled date for the team's delegation to return to Riyadh.

Al-Diriyah concludes its preparations with a friendly match against Al-Khulood on August 8, in a final rehearsal before starting its campaign in the Saudi Roshn League, where it aims to appear strong and achieve a promising start.
