Dubai, January 21 / WAM / The organizing committee of the Dubai International Basketball Championship announced the match schedule for the 35th edition, which will be held from January 23 to February 1, with the participation of 10 teams, at the Rashid bin Hamdan Hall in Al Nasr Sports Club.

The UAE national team will start its campaign in the championship by facing Syrian team Al-Fidaa Homs at 6:00 pm on opening day, within Group A competition, preceded in the same group by a match between Al Nasr and Al-Ittihad Libya, while the first day's matches will conclude with a clash between Libyan team Ahli Tripoli and Tunisian team Al-Afriqi within Group B.

Group A includes the UAE national team, Al Nasr, Syrian teams Al-Fidaa Homs and Al-Wahda, and Al-Ittihad Libya, while Group B includes teams: Beirut (Lebanon), Al-Karama (Syria), Al-Afriqi (Tunisia), Ahli Tripoli (Libya), and Zamboanga (Philippines).

The first round matches will continue until January 28, followed by the quarter-finals on Thursday and Friday, with the top four teams from each group qualifying. The semi-finals will be held on Saturday, and the event will conclude with the final match and the third-place match on Sunday.
