The Elections Committee of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation's Board of Directors for its sixth term began receiving candidates' applications on Wednesday, continuing until Saturday, August 1, according to the election timeline announced last Thursday.

Candidates may submit their applications during this period, with the Elections Committee set to begin reviewing the candidate lists from Sunday, August 2 through Friday, August 7. The preliminary candidate lists will be announced on Saturday, August 8, while the Sports Arbitration Center will receive appeals and grievances against the lists from August 9 to 13, with decisions to be made between August 15 and 23. The results of the decisions on the appeals will be announced on Monday, August 24.

Tuesday, August 25 is set as the final date for candidate withdrawals, while the final candidate lists will be announced on Wednesday, August 26. Election campaigns will begin the following day and continue until Saturday, August 29, with the elections to be held during the extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Arabian Football Federation on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
