England Extinguishes Mexico's Dream (Photos)
England survived a strong Mexican fightback to win 3-2 on Monday, booking their place in the World Cup quarter-finals, ending the best run in 40 years for a co-host nation, despite playing most of the second half with ten men at the Azteca Stadium.
Bellingham scored twice to break Mexico's resistance, while Harry Kane added the third for the Three Lions; the hosts' goals came from Julián Quiñones and Raúl Jiménez.
