ESPN: Fiorentina and Porto Monitoring Leonardo
Italian Fiorentina and Portuguese Porto have expressed interest in the services of Brazilian Marcos Leonardo, a striker for Al-Hilal first football team, according to ESPN Brazil on Friday. The channel stated that the Brazilian striker's agents are in Riyadh to negotiate with Al-Hilal club management regarding the sale of the remaining portion of his contract. The Brazilian channel mentioned that Al-Hilal management is open to selling the remainder of Leonardo's contract. It reported that it is unlikely Leonardo will return to the Brazilian league, despite interest from clubs like Sao Paulo and Flamengo earlier this year. Leonardo played 39 matches for Al-Hilal in the 2025-2026 season, scoring 19 goals and providing one assist, and helped his team win the King's Cup. Al-Hilal signed Leonardo, 23, in the summer of 2024, and he is under contract until June 2029.
