Hamad Al-Yami, right back of Al-Hilal first football team, continues the final stage of his rehabilitation program in a camp in Austria from July 15 to August 3, according to a source from Al-Riyadiya. The same source stated that Al-Yami is still undergoing rehabilitation at the club's clinic after a patellar tendon surgery on his knee performed last March in Helsinki by Finnish doctor Lasse Lempainen. Al-Hilal announced the medical conditions of the trio Salem Al-Dawsari, Mutab Al-Harbi, and Hassan Tambakti on Friday morning. It said that Al-Dawsari will undergo an examination by Lempainen on Monday, July 20, to follow up on his knee tendon injury, and the decision on whether he needs surgical intervention will be determined after the examination results. The treatment and rehabilitation program for the player will range between six and eight weeks. Al-Harbi will undergo eye surgery in the coming days, and is expected to be ready to participate in the pre-season preparation program for the new season. Examinations showed that Tambakti needs a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting six to seven weeks, after suffering a tear in the tendon of his right foot while with the Green during the ongoing World Cup. Al-Hilal began the first phase of preparations on Saturday for the new season in Riyadh under the supervision of its Italian coach Simone Inzaghi. Al-Hilal will play four friendly matches during its external camp, starting with a match against Austrian side Sturm Graz on July 19, then Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa on July 24, five days later it faces MC Alger, and concludes the camp against Qatari side Al-Ahli on the third of next month. The Al-Hilal team faces three challenges in the new season, as it will compete in the Saudi Roshn League, the King's Cup, and the AFC Champions League Elite.
