The Disciplinary Committee of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) has opened an investigation into the events that occurred within the Argentine national team following the World Cup final against Spain, while studying match officials' reports and video footage of the match before deciding whether to impose any sanctions.

FIFA will investigate the incidents involving several members of the Argentine squad after the final match, as reported by Sky Sports that the international federation will analyze the refereeing reports and recorded footage of the match before determining its position on imposing penalties.

Among the most prominent incidents to be reviewed will be the sending off of Leandro Paredes for violent conduct after the final whistle, after he clashed with Spanish national team players during the title celebration.

Also under investigation will be the actions of Nahuel Molina, who threw a punch at Rodri during the celebrations, in addition to the suspected involvement of assistant coach Roberto Ayala, after he pushed Dani Olmo during the events.

FIFA will also assess the behavior of the Argentine delegation during the trophy ceremony, after several players turned their backs while the Spanish national team lifted the World Cup, a scene that sparked widespread controversy.

The International Federation of Association Football has not yet announced any potential sanctions, as it will await the completion of disciplinary procedures before issuing its official decision, a decision that will not, in any case, be made for several weeks.
