Saudi Al-Ahli has finalized the deal for Abdullah Radif, the former Al-Hilal striker, during the current summer transfer window, after its neighbor and traditional rival Al-Ittihad withdrew from signing him.

Al-Hilal announced on July 7 that Abdullah Radif had left the club permanently, after 5 years since his promotion to the first team, during which he was loaned to Al-Taawoun, Al-Shabab, Al-Ettifaq, and Al-Fayha.

Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat reported that Al-Ahli has agreed with Abdullah Radif to move to the club in the current summer transfer window, with a contract extending for the next 4 years, ending in 2030.

Radif had already agreed with Al-Ittihad to move to the club, with a contract extending for 3 seasons, during which he would receive 27 million riyals, at 9 million per season, before Al-Ittihad withdrew due to lack of necessary liquidity to complete the deal.

Radif is expected to be the third striker for Al-Ahli, competing with Brazilian Ricardo Matias, behind Englishman Ivan Toney and Saudi Firas Al-Buraikan.

Thus, the 23-year-old will be Al-Ahli's sixth signing in the current summer transfer window, after Gambian Abubakar Sidy Kinteh, Portuguese Francisco Trincão, Armenian Eduard Spertsyan, and Saudis Mishal Al-Mutairi and Nayef Masoud.

It is worth noting that the young Saudi striker's last stint was with Al-Fayha during the second half of last season, where he only participated in 8 matches, scoring no goals, while providing two assists.
