From Belgium: German Giant Threats Al-Ittihad's Search for Fabinho's Replacement

Al-Ittihad's hopes of signing a replacement for Brazilian midfielder Fabinho have been threatened by the entry of a German giant into the deal.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said that German club Eintracht Frankfurt is pushing hard to sign Nigerian midfielder Raphael Onyedika of Club Brugge during the current summer transfer window.
According to the Italian journalist's tweet on his personal account on X, Al-Ittihad has also entered the race to sign Onyedika in the current summer transfer window by sending an official offer.
The Belgian club values its Nigerian midfielder at around €10 million, given that his contract with the team ends at the end of next season and he is eligible to sign for a new club in the winter transfer window.
Al-Ittihad is looking to sign a new midfielder after deciding to release its Brazilian midfielder Fabinho following the end of his contract at the end of last season.
Onyedika (25 years old) delivered impressive performances with Club Brugge last season, making 42 appearances in various competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists.
