The team's supporters, who wore the club's black-and-white jersey, chanted in unison in a video: 'Ya Allah Bismillah, Mohamed Salah,' calling on the club to sign the Egyptian star whose contract with Liverpool has expired.

This chant, which quickly became a trending topic on social media, once again revealed the fans' expectations of making new deals with global stars to strengthen the team's ranks, foremost among them Salah.

Club president Serdal Adalı interacted with the fans' chants of 'Mohamed Salah' and responded with a broad smile, and the appearance of the 'African continent' in the promotional video for Trossard's presentation, shown during the ceremony, increased the fans' enthusiasm.

The past few hours have seen news circulating about the presence of Rami Abbas, Mohamed Salah's agent, in Istanbul, which was interpreted as negotiations for the former Liverpool star's transfer to play in the Turkish Süper Lig next season.

Besiktas has shown notable activity during the current summer transfer window in preparation for the new season, having made 6 deals, seeking to compete for the title after finishing last season in fourth place.
