God is Sufficient for Us Against Those Who Caused What Al-Ittihad Has Come To

Only a month and two days remain before the end of Al-Ittihad Club's board of directors term, headed by engineer Fahd Sindi. Nevertheless, the Al-Ittihad fans have noticed no positive signs or indicators that inspire optimism.

- If the insistence of the president and board members on staying until the end of their term, and not submitting any resignations, stems from their belief that they can correct mistakes, then reality confirms that they have 'failed' even in this task. Not only have they caused the club to lose many of the gains achieved in the previous season, but they also plunged it into a catastrophic season that left severe damages that have not been addressed yet, and will instead transfer their burdens to any future administration, so that blame remains directed at them, as they are the main reason for what Al-Ittihad has come to.

- It is very clear, according to observed facts known to everyone, that Al-Ittihad's problem lies in a board of directors that preferred to stay, disregarding the interest of the Al-Ittihad entity and its fans who are burning with longing to hear news that inspires hope, or announcements of high-profile signings that confirm that real work is being done, and that there are loyal men who care about Al-Ittihad and appreciate the trust given to them and the responsibility they willingly accepted.

- As for Al-Ittihad's scene for the current season, which has only a month and two days before its start, it does not bode well at all. I have become convinced, albeit late, that the last thing this administration cares about is Al-Ittihad. It no longer seems to care about its reputation or the criticism and blame directed at it; it remains until the end of its term, as if its feelings have become numb and its emotions dead.

- Even if it resigned today, what could the next administration accomplish? What can it fix in this short time? Unless it possesses a magic wand, or is given open powers and an open budget that allows it to move from its first day, before the registration period closes. I believe that achieving this is nearly impossible, and only happens through a divine miracle, out of mercy for the fans of Al-Ittihad, the oppressed and patient, who have endured beyond their capacity at various levels, after Al-Ittihad was left alone to flounder between a failing administration and a company that owns it - unfortunately - asleep at the wheel, as if it forgot or ignored that Al-Ittihad is an integral part of a national project and one of the most important pillars of its success, unless it has abandoned it for reasons that cannot be disclosed.

- May God help the frustrated Al-Ittihad fans for a season that I do not know how they will cope with, nor with a team that seems to be suffering a lot. I do not know how they will be in the stands; will they be content with cheering and support, repeating their famous chant: 'Al-Itti, its state, O God at Your door, O Generous, O Itti, as God wills', or will they raise their hands in supplication to heaven, cursing those who caused it, with their tongues saying: God is sufficient for us and He is the best disposer of affairs against whoever caused it... whoever it may be.
