Horse Racing Club and Talad Holding Company Sign MoU to Develop Veterinary Medicine
The Horse Racing Club signed a memorandum of understanding with Talad Holding Company, aiming to strengthen cooperation in the fields of innovation and scientific research in veterinary medicine, contributing to the development of veterinary practices and enhancing horse health and welfare.
The signing ceremony took place at the Horse Racing Club headquarters, in the presence of Prince Salman bin Abdullah Al Saud, CEO of the club, and Talal bin Dawood Al-Muhaidib, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Talad Holding Company.
This partnership comes within the club's efforts to support the research and development system in equine medicine, and to enhance specialized scientific initiatives, thus consolidating the Kingdom's position as a leading regional center for equine veterinary research.
The memorandum of understanding is based on activating the private sector's participation in developing the equestrian system, through key objectives including supporting scientific research, developing evidence-based veterinary practices, and contributing to enhancing horse health and welfare through joint scientific and veterinary initiatives and programs.
The areas of cooperation also include exchanging expertise and benefiting from the capabilities available to both parties, developing joint research initiatives that support innovation in equine medicine, raise the quality of veterinary services, and contribute to enhancing the research and development system in the Kingdom.
