Swiss Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), spoke about the Egyptian national team's journey in the 2026 World Cup, which witnessed many exceptional and sad moments at the same time.

The Egyptian national team succeeded in advancing past the group stage for the first time in its history, drawing with Belgium and Iran, and defeating New Zealand, which was the first victory in the history of the 'Pharaohs' in the World Cup.

Infantino decided to send a message to the Pharaohs by posting several pictures of the Egyptian national team on his official Instagram account, commenting: 'Thank you.
