The management of Jeddah Club has come close to officially announcing the signing of Kuwaiti coach Maher Al-Shammari to lead the first football team, a step that represents a new return for the coach to the club's walls, as it will be the third time he takes over the technical supervision of the team.

Al-Shammari is considered one of the Gulf coaching names with extensive experience in Saudi stadiums, having previously led a number of clubs and achieved notable milestones in his coaching career.

The anticipated return holds special importance for both parties, given Al-Shammari's familiarity with the atmosphere of Jeddah Club and the nature of competition in the Yelo League, which the management relies on to build a team capable of delivering a strong season and fulfilling the fans' aspirations.

Jeddah Club will be the fifth Saudi team led by the Kuwaiti coach outside Kuwait, after his previous experiences with Al-Khaleej, Al-Nahda, Al-Arabi, Al-Qaisumah, and Al-Batin, thus continuing his notable presence in Saudi football and adding a new stop to his rich coaching record.

The club is expected to announce the contract details in the coming days, in preparation for the start of the preparation stage for the new season under Al-Shammari's leadership.
