Al-Khuloud club management signed Abdulrahman Al-Obaid, a player from Al-Ittihad's first football team, to bolster its squad during the current summer transfer window, as announced by the club on its official X account on Wednesday. The club explained that the management signed a contract with Al-Obaid (22 years old) extending until 2029, after purchasing the remaining period of his contract with Al-Ittihad, so the player continues his career wearing the Al-Khuloud jersey starting from the new season. Al-Obaid is expected to join Al-Khuloud's preparatory camp in Spain on Thursday, ahead of joining training and becoming part of the technical and fitness program of the team. The team, which is coached by Englishman Des Buckingham, resumed training on Sunday in two sessions, morning and evening, after a one-day break during its ongoing preparatory camp in the Spanish city of Murcia since last Monday. Guinean midfielder Sidouba Cisse and Spanish winger Copa da Costa joined the camp, which aims to prepare the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cup runner-up for the competitions of the upcoming season.
