(CNN)-- King Felipe VI of Spain was overwhelmed with joy after his country's team qualified for the 2026 World Cup final.

The Spanish royal family's Instagram account posted a video on Wednesday night showing the king and his family watching the match between the 'Matadors' team and France at the Dallas stadium in the semi-finals.

The King of Spain watched the match on a screen inside a hall, wearing his country's team shirt and reacting to moments of the match.

He looked extremely happy after the final whistle with Lamine Yamal's teammates winning 2-0, and was seen spontaneously celebrating by raising his arms and clapping, before hugging his family members.

The 'Matadors' team reached the final of the World Cup for the second time in its history, and will face England or Argentina on July 19.
