Real Mallorca confirmed that the transfer of Portuguese midfielder Samu Costa from the first team to Al Nassr has been finalized, according to what was revealed to 'Al Riyadiyah' by Hector Martin, the media officer of the Spanish club. Martin said in a special statement: 'The deal has been closed between Mallorca and Al Nassr, and a final agreement has been reached between them regarding the transfer of Samu Costa, after the Saudi club outperformed the offer from German club Leipzig and other European offers.' 'Al Riyadiyah' had exclusively reported on July 18 that Al Nassr was close to signing Costa amid competition from Al Diraiyah, which tried to sign the player based on the desire of its Portuguese coach Bruno Lage. Costa is 25 years old, joined Real Mallorca in the summer of 2023 from Almeria, and established himself as one of the standout midfielders in the Spanish league. Samu played 33 matches in various competitions last season, starting 31 of them, scoring seven goals, and providing two assists.
