Manchester City has continued to strengthen its squad for the new season, announcing the signing of English winger Jeremy Monga from Leicester City on a contract running until the summer of 2031.

Monga is 17 years old and is a product of Leicester City's academy, having progressed through various age groups before establishing himself in the first team last season.

The player, of Zambian descent, made 37 appearances for Leicester last season, scoring one goal and providing two assists, before leaving the club following their relegation to the English Championship. Monga becomes Manchester City's fourth signing under Italian manager Enzo Maresca, who took over from Spaniard Pep Guardiola at the end of last season, after the acquisitions of Elliot Anderson, Matias De Torpet, and Pearce Charles.

Manchester City is preparing for the upcoming season, which will see them participate in the UEFA Champions League after finishing second in the Premier League last season.
