Kylian Mbappe, captain of the French national team, left his mark with an unprecedented historic record in the World Cup after scoring a brilliant goal against Morocco.

Mbappe managed to shake Morocco's net in the 60th minute of the second half, with a precise rocket shot that nestled into the left corner past Yassine Bounou.

According to what Opta football statistics network reported, Mbappe became the first player in World Cup history to provide 10 contributions across two different editions.

Mbappe reached his eighth goal along with two decisive assists, the same achievement he accomplished during the previous edition held in Qatar.
