Prince Fawaz bin Sultan, Governor of Taif, on Thursday honored runner Maryam Mahjab, in the presence of Brigadier General Ali Al-Sheikhi, President of the Saudi Athletics Federation, in recognition of her achievement of winning second place in the 300-meter race and third place in the 80-meter hurdles, as part of the third Arab Athletics Championship recently held in Alexandria, Egypt. The Governor of Taif congratulated the player and team members on this achievement, wishing them continued success and more accomplishments that elevate the nation's name in sports arenas. During her participation in the Arab Championship, Maryam succeeded in achieving a strong personal best time of 12.87 seconds, amid very close competition for the first and second places.
