Modric extends his contract with Milan until 2027
Italian club Milan announced the extension of midfielder Luka Modric (40) until June 2027.
Modric has played 37 matches and scored two goals since joining Milan on a one-year contract last year.
The 2018 Ballon d'Or winner had a brilliant career at Real Madrid, winning 28 major trophies.
Modric is widely regarded as the greatest Croatian player, having represented his country 202 times, scoring 29 goals, and taking part in his tenth major international tournament at the 2026 World Cup, where Croatia was eliminated by Portugal in the round of 32.
Milan, the seven-time European champion, finished fifth in Serie A last season and hired former Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim in hopes of improving.
