Sources to Asharq Al-Awsat: Al-Fayhaa and Al-Faisaly matches to continue at Al-Majma'ah Stadium
Sources told Asharq Al-Awsat that matches of Saudi clubs Al-Fayhaa and Al-Faisaly will be held at Al-Majma'ah Sports City Stadium in the Saudi Pro League next season, with the schedule to be announced this evening to host the matches.
According to the same sources, there is no transfer of matches for the two teams outside the governorate, whether in the capital Riyadh or Al-Qassim, and that all matches will be held at Al-Majma'ah Stadium.
The first match at Al-Majma'ah Stadium this season will be between Al-Faisaly and Neom Club in the Round of 32 of the King's Cup, which will be held from August 16 to 19.
It is noteworthy that in recent days, social media has circulated that the two teams' matches would be moved outside Al-Majma'ah Governorate in the early rounds due to internal maintenance at Al-Majma'ah Stadium.
It is worth mentioning that Al-Fayhaa played its league matches last season at its stadium, including its last match against Al-Hilal, which had a potential title decider for the capital's blue team before Al-Nasr succeeded in winning the title.
Al-Majma'ah Stadium, after improvements and maintenance, accommodates about 12,000 spectators, an increase in capacity from the previous 7,000 spectators.
