(CNN)-- The curtain has fallen on the participation of Arab teams in the 2026 World Cup, held in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
One team bid farewell from the quarter-finals, another from the round of 16, and a third from the round of 32, while the journey of 5 teams ended early, specifically from the first round.
Morocco
Its journey ended in the quarter-finals, after a 2-0 loss to France.
It drew 1-1 with Brazil, beat Scotland 1-0 and Haiti 4-2 in the group stage, then beat the Netherlands on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the round of 32, then beat Canada 3-0 in the round of 16.
Egypt
Left the tournament from the round of 16, after a 3-2 defeat to Argentina.
It drew 1-1 with Belgium, drew 1-1 with Iran, and beat New Zealand 3-1 in the first round, then beat Australia on penalties after a 1-1 draw in the round of 32.
Algeria bid farewell from the round of 32, after a 2-0 loss to Switzerland.
It won 2-1 against Jordan, drew 3-3 with Austria, and lost 3-0 to defending champion Argentina in the group stage.
Saudi Arabia
Left the World Cup early, after a 1-1 draw with Uruguay, a 0-0 draw with Cape Verde, and a 4-0 defeat to Spain in the first round. Jordan

Qatar
