Press reports have revealed the actual amount that Saudi Al-Hilal will pay to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville from West Ham United during the current summer transfer window.

Press reports had confirmed that Al-Hilal is close to signing Summerville in the current summer transfer window for 80 million euros, which would make him the second most expensive player in the history of the Saudi league.

However, Saudi journalist Hamad Al-Suwaihy denied those figures in a post on his personal account on 'X'.

Al-Suwaihy wrote: 'Al-Hilal's offer to English club West Ham amounted to about 65 million euros, while an offer of 12 million euros per year was made to the player.'

In a previous post, Al-Suwaihy himself had confirmed that the Dutch winger had indeed undergone the medical examinations requested by Al-Hilal in the past few hours, after agreeing to move to the club.

Summerville is expected to sign a long-term contract with Al-Hilal in the coming hours, before the deal is officially announced.

Summerville stood out in the 2026 World Cup, despite not being a starter in all of Netherlands' matches, after scoring two goals and providing two assists.

Away from the 'Oranje', Summerville delivered impressive performances last season with West Ham, featuring in 34 matches, scoring 7 goals and providing 5 assists.

The 24-year-old primarily excels as a left winger, but he can also play on the right flank, as well as as a striker and attacking midfielder, though less frequently.
