Al Riyadh sources confirmed that Al Hilal has reached a preliminary agreement with English club West Ham to sign Dutch winger Crysencio Summerville for €80 million on a long-term contract. Reports indicate that negotiations between the two parties have reached their final stages, ahead of the medical examination and the official announcement of the deal in the coming days.

Roma was ready to pay only €46 million in its third and final offer, before Al Hilal sealed the deal after making a big offer to the player on Tuesday. The leader obtained permission to conduct the medical examination.

Ben Jacobs, a reliable source on European transfers, said today via his official account on platform X: 'Roma withdrew from the race to sign Crysencio Summerville after submitting its third and final offer worth €46 million, demanding a final response within 24 hours.'

Ben Jacobs explained: 'Al Hilal had been moving in secret since May, and succeeded today in finalizing the agreement with the player, after making a huge financial offer that included: €80 million to West Ham and a final agreement with the player on personal terms.'

Summerville is considered one of the most prominent attacking talents in Dutch football, as he is distinguished by his great speed, dribbling skills, and ability to play in various forward positions, making him a strong addition to Al Hilal in domestic and continental competitions.

Summerville began his career at the Feyenoord academy, before going on loan spells with Dordrecht and ADO Den Haag. He then moved to Leeds United in 2020, where he shone remarkably, especially in the 2023-2024 season, when he scored 19 goals and provided 9 assists in the English Championship, earning the Championship Player of the Season award and leading his team to compete for promotion.

In the summer of 2024, he moved to West Ham United and continued to deliver impressive performances in the English Premier League. He also established himself in the Dutch national team after his stellar club displays, becoming one of the most prominent emerging wingers in Europe.
