The new Coral Promenade in Jizan city has added a new option for strolling along the Red Sea coast, and during the summer vacation it has become one of the destinations visited by residents and visitors to enjoy its seaside location and the various recreational facilities and services it offers. The promenade is located on the southern beach of Jizan city, within Coral Island, which extends over an area of 63,000 square meters, and is part of the system of seaside promenades developed by the Jazan Region Municipality, aiming to benefit from the coastal features and provide public spaces that welcome residents and visitors throughout the year, witnessing increasing demand during the summer season. The promenade includes a seaside walkway, sitting areas, green spaces, children's play areas, as well as restaurants, cafes, and support services, providing a suitable environment for strolling, walking, and spending leisure time in a marine atmosphere. With the growing tourism movement in the region during the summer season, the promenade has emerged as one of the stops that integrate with other tourist sites in Jazan, contributing to diversifying the experiences offered to visitors, which include marine destinations, islands, and natural sites. The development of the new Coral Promenade is part of a series of projects aimed at improving the urban landscape, enhancing the quality of public facilities, and investing in coastal features, thereby improving quality of life, supporting the tourism sector, and increasing the readiness of sites to receive visitors in various seasons. The Jazan region continues to expand its tourism options by developing its facilities and services, benefiting from its natural diversity that combines sea, mountains, valleys, and islands, enhancing its status as one of the tourist destinations in Saudi Arabia throughout the year.
