Italian club Lazio officially announced on Sunday the signing of Spanish midfielder Bruno Guasi, 19, one of the most prominent graduates of Real Madrid's academy, in a permanent transfer worth €4 million for 50% of the player's rights.

In an official statement published on its website, the Italian club said: "SS Lazio is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Bruno Guasi from Real Madrid. Under the agreement, the Spanish club will retain a percentage of any future sale of the player."

Guasi, born in Lleida, Spain, joined Real Madrid from Getafe in 2023 and quickly emerged as one of the most promising talents in the royal academy, winning the UEFA Youth League and the Champions Cup with the youth team.

The player had bid farewell to Real Madrid weeks ago through a message posted on his social media accounts without revealing his destination, before the deal was officially finalized in favor of Lazio, which succeeded in securing his services as part of its plan to strengthen the squad with young elements.

Guasi represents a significant addition to Lazio's midfield, which is betting on his talent and technical skills honed at one of Europe's most prestigious academies, while Real Madrid ensures its share of any future sale of the player.
