As Brazilian Endrick prepares to return to the Spanish capital Madrid to prove himself, a sudden Italian interest has emerged that could change the path of the young Samba talent.

The Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, citing Italian outlet Il Messaggero, reported that Roma has included the name of Brazilian striker Endrick on its list of targets during the current summer transfer window and is considering making an official move to sign him.

Endrick, 19, returns to Real Madrid this season after the end of his loan spell at Olympique Lyonnais, and he is determined to stay and secure a place in the starting lineup, or at least get more playing time than he had under Xabi Alonso.

Despite the player's clear desire to continue, the final decision will remain with the coaching staff, who must choose between Gonzalo García and Endrick to be the first substitute for Kylian Mbappé, with a trend for Portuguese coach José Mourinho, linked with a return to Roma, to deploy the Brazilian on the right wing if the deal goes through.

The newspaper clarified that Roma is not the only club interested in Endrick's services, as several clubs have expressed their desire to sign him, but the Giallorossi management is closely monitoring his situation and considers him an ideal opportunity in the market.

Il Messaggero confirmed that any potential move by Roma would be only on loan, as Real Madrid is keen on the future of its Brazilian star and has no intention of letting him go permanently.
