Al-Nassr Club announced its approval to loan Colombian striker Jhon Durán to Portuguese club Benfica.

Al-Nassr said the loan is for one season, with the Portuguese club granted an option to buy the player's contract, wishing him success in his new experience.

Two loans before moving to Benfica

Al-Nassr had signed Durán during the winter transfer window in January 2025, coming from English club Aston Villa, with a contract extending until the summer of 2030, in one of the club's most prominent deals at the time.

After several months of his joining, the player moved to Turkish Fenerbahçe on loan during the summer of 2025, before embarking on a new loan experience with Russian Zenit Saint Petersburg with a contract extending until the end of the 2026 season, after which he continued his journey by moving to Portuguese Benfica on a one-season loan with an option to buy.

His numbers with the Al-Nassr shirt

Jhon Durán played 18 matches with the Al-Nassr shirt in various competitions, scoring 12 goals, before the club agreed to loan him to Benfica in search of a new stop in his football career.
