أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم، تجديد عقد المدير الفني للمنتخب حسام حسن، ومدير المنتخب إبراهيم حسن في إطار حرص المجلس على استكمال المشروع الفني للمنتخب الوطني، والبناء على ما تحقق من إنجازات تاريخية لكرة القدم المصرية خلال الفترة الماضية.

وسيتم اعتماد قرار التجديد خلال اجتماع مجلس الإدارة، فور وصول بعثة المنتخب إلى جمهورية مصر.

وكان منتخب «الفراعنة» قد خرج من أمام منتخب الأرجنتين من دور الـ16 في بطولة كأس العالم 2026، بعد خسارته بثلاثة أهداف مقابل هدفين.

The Egyptian Football Association announced the renewal of the contract for the national team coach Hossam Hassan and the team manager Ibrahim Hassan, as part of the council's commitment to continue the technical project for the national team and to build on the historic achievements of Egyptian football during the past period.

The renewal decision will be approved during the board meeting, as soon as the national team delegation arrives in the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The "Pharaohs" team was eliminated by the Argentina team in the Round of 16 of the 2026 World Cup, after losing three goals to two.
