The celebrations of the Spanish national team after winning the 2026 World Cup witnessed a series of scenes reflecting poor acceptance of defeat by the Argentine national team.

Sport newspaper reported that Roberto Fabian Ayala, assistant to Lionel Scaloni, coach of La Albiceleste, got into a confrontation with Spanish player Dani Olmo during the title celebrations.

These events came as a result of the clashes that broke out following the incident between Paredes and Eric Garcia.

When Dani Olmo approached the scene, Ayala happened to be there, the defender known during his playing career for his combative and strong style in challenges.

At first, it seemed that Scaloni's assistant was intervening to remove Olmo from the clashes, but he surprised everyone by throwing a punch to the neck area, leaving the Spain player stunned, who was then standing next to Eric Garcia.

After that, Eric Garcia pushed Ayala, shocked by the behavior he witnessed before him.

This incident casts a negative image on Scaloni's assistant, who has always been credited with exemplary conduct both in press conferences and on the pitch.
