The date for presenting Real Madrid's new signing has been set, with the presentation ceremony decided for next Tuesday (July 28) at the Valdebebas sports city, instead of being held at the Santiago Bernabéu, according to journalist specializing in Real Madrid news, Ben Fernández Santos.

The royal club will officially present Dutch right-back Denzel Dumfries, who joined the La Liga runners-up from Inter Milan this summer, signing a contract extending until June 30, 2030.

Dumfries' transfer came after Real Madrid activated the release clause in his contract with Inter Milan, which was 20 million euros.

The Dutch international is expected to compete with Englishman Trent Alexander-Arnold, the former Liverpool star, for a place in the starting lineup.

Dumfries is 30 years old, joined Inter Milan in the summer of 2021 from PSV Eindhoven, played over 200 matches for the Italian team, contributed to winning the Serie A title, and reached the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain in the 2024-2025 season, before moving to Real Madrid on a four-season contract.
