The Catalan newspaper Sport revealed that Uruguayan Darwin Nunez wants to leave Al-Hilal during the current transfer window, due to his lack of participation with the team.

According to the newspaper, Nunez no longer wishes to continue with Al-Hilal, as the technical staff relies on Frenchman Karim Benzema, which has limited his opportunities to appear regularly.

The report added that the Uruguayan striker prioritizes a move to Barcelona, stressing his willingness to give up a large part of his salary to achieve this step.

Meanwhile, Al-Hilal's management continues to work on strengthening the squad with a number of new signings, based on the needs of Italian coach Simone Inzaghi, who seeks to enhance technical options before the start of the new season.
