The draw for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League, held Monday in Nyon, Switzerland, produced strong matchups in both the League Path and the Champions Path of the tournament.

In the League Path, Olympiacos (GRE) faces NEC Nijmegen (NED), while Union Saint-Gilloise (BEL) takes on Bodø/Glimt (NOR). The winner of the tie between Fenerbahçe (TUR) and Górnik Zabrze (POL) will face the winner of Sturm Graz (AUT) vs. Heart of Midlothian (SCO). Sparta Prague (CZE) will play Lyon (FRA).

The first legs of this path will be played on August 4 and 5, with the second legs on August 11.

In the Champions Path, the winner of Thun (SUI) vs. Dinamo Zagreb (CRO) will face the qualifier from KÍ Klaksvík (FRO) vs. FK Kauno Žalgiris (LTU).

The winner of Levski Sofia (BUL) vs. Universitatea Craiova (ROU) meets the qualifier from Kairat Almaty (KAZ) vs. Omonia (CYP). The winner of Ararat-Armenia (ARM) vs. Shamrock Rovers (IRL) faces the qualifier from Egnatia (ALB) vs. Celje (SLO).

The winner of Mjällby (SWE) vs. Lincoln Red Imps (GIB) plays the winner of Iberia 1999 Tbilisi (GEO) vs. Slovan Bratislava (SVK). The qualifier from Aarhus (DEN) vs. Lech Poznań (POL) meets the winner of Sabah (AZE) vs. FC Haka (FIN).

The path concludes with the winner of Víkingur Reykjavík (ISL) vs. Hapoel Be'er Sheva (ISR) facing the qualifier from Larne (NIR) vs. Red Star Belgrade (SRB).

The first legs in the Champions Path are scheduled for August 4 and 5, with the second legs on August 11.
