Al-Taawoun club announced on Thursday the signing of Abdulrahman Hindi, the midfielder of first-division team Al-Orubah, according to a statement published on its X account. Al-Riyadiya had revealed on Saturday that Al-Taawoun had reached an agreement with the 23-year-old player and began processing the Schengen visa, in preparation for the player to join training in the Dutch city of Meierlo under Serbian coach Zarko Lazetić. Hindi's contract with Al-Taawoun extends for three seasons with an option for an additional season. The 23-year-old Hindi progressed through the youth categories of Al-Fayhaa before moving to Jerash in the summer of 2024. In the 2025 season, the Al-Orubah management signed the player, and he participated with them in 27 matches in the Yelo First Division League, totaling 2,018 minutes, scoring two goals and providing one assist, with a market value of 275,000 euros. Al-Taawoun entered a training camp in the Dutch city of Meierlo on July 5, which will continue until August 5, and includes four friendly matches.
