The Camel Racecourse in Taif Governorate will witness - tomorrow, Saturday - the holding of the final of Al-Mafarid race, organized by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation, with prize money exceeding 2.5 million riyals, distributed over 156 rounds across three stages, opening the camel racing season 2026-2027.

The final program includes holding 24 rounds over a distance of 2 kilometers, including four cup rounds, which include two rounds dedicated to Saudi production, introduced by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation this season to support Saudi camel owners, sponsored by businessman Obaid bin Salman Al-Dosari.

The first stage of the championship was held on June 13 and 14, featuring 66 rounds for the Al-Mafarid category over a distance of 1,500 meters, while the second stage was held on June 27 and 28, with the same number of rounds and distance.

The first and second stages resulted in the qualification of 660 mounts to the final, out of 3,398 mounts that participated in the competitions, amid anticipation of strong competition for cup titles and prizes at the conclusion of the first championship of the season.
