Topmöller, the head coach of French club Lens, revealed the date for Saudi international Saud Abdulhamid to join the team's group training, after the end of the vacation he received following his participation with the Saudi national team in the 2026 World Cup.

The coach explained in media statements that the international players, including Saud Abdulhamid, will join the team's training by the end of this month, in preparation for the start of the new season, after they had a rest period following the end of their international commitments.

The Saudi full-back had presented impressive performances with Lens last season, which prompted the club's management to activate the purchase clause in his contract, allowing him to continue his professional career in the French league.

Despite receiving offers from clubs in the Saudi Roshn League during the summer transfer window, Saud Abdulhamid preferred to continue his European experience, believing in his desire to pursue his professional career outside the Kingdom.
