Al-Wakalat Motorsport, under the sports supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, announced the launch of the third edition of the Saudi Aramco Formula 4 Championship, the first Saudi single-seater car championship accredited by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), in a season described as the largest since the championship's inception.

The championship will be held from October to December 2026, across six rounds hosted by the Jeddah Corniche Circuit and the Lusail International Circuit in Qatar, confirming the championship's continuous regional expansion and strengthening its presence outside the Kingdom.

The new season adopts an advanced system that includes a day of official testing followed by two days of competition, giving drivers more track time and greater opportunities to gain experience and hone their skills.

Up to 20 drivers (male and female) will participate in the championship, all competing in a standardized Tatuus T421 – Abarth F4 Gen2 car, ensuring equal opportunities among participants and making individual skill the decisive factor in determining results.

In its third season, the championship continues to establish its role as a strategic platform for preparing the next generation of Saudi and international drivers, providing a professional and safe environment according to the highest FIA standards, and enabling young talents to transition from karting to single-seater racing through a clear development path leading to Formula 3 and beyond.

The new season is an extension of the success achieved in the previous edition, which saw close competition that crowned British driver Kit Belovsky of the Pex team with the championship title, while Emirati driver Adam Al-Azhari from Valvoline team finished second, and Swedish driver Scott Lindblom from Red Bull team finished third.

The championship's role is not limited to preparing drivers, but extends to building an integrated motorsport ecosystem in the Kingdom, through investment in national talents in the fields of engineering, mechanics, sponsorship, operations, media, and marketing, supporting the sector's growth and contributing to achieving the goals of Vision 2030.
