The Saudi Football Federation Election Committee began receiving applications from candidates today, Wednesday, until August 1, according to the election timeline announced last Thursday.

Candidates can submit their applications during this period, and the election committee will begin checking the candidate lists from August 2 until August 7.

The preliminary candidate lists will be announced on August 8, while the Sports Arbitration Center will receive appeals and objections to the lists from August 9 to 13, with decisions to be made between August 15 and 23. The results of the appeals will be announced on August 24.

Tuesday, August 25, is the deadline for candidate withdrawals. The final candidate lists will be announced on August 26, and electoral campaigns will start the following day and continue until August 29. The elections will take place during the extraordinary general assembly meeting of the Saudi Football Federation on August 30, 2026.
