The Saudi Professional League announced the dates for the first six matchweeks of the Saudi Roshn League for the 2026-2027 season, as part of the approved competition schedule.

The announcement comes as part of preparations for the new season, in line with the approved calendar and criteria for scheduling, taking into account the regularity of competition and the various club participations.

The schedule was prepared under a calendar experiencing exceptional density in international, continental, and domestic commitments, as eight Saudi clubs will participate in four external tournaments next season, in addition to FIFA international breaks, the Saudi national team's commitments, and hosting the 2027 Asian Cup.

The Saudi Professional League kicks off on August 13, 2026, and concludes on May 29, 2027, featuring 306 matches distributed over 34 matchweeks.

Teams Al-Hazem and Abha, newly promoted to the Professional League, kick off the new season's matches on Thursday, August 13, which will feature three games: Al-Shabab hosts Al-Qadsiah, while newcomer Al-Diriyah hosts Al-Ahli.

In the other first-round matches, on Friday, Neom faces Al-Fayha, Al-Ettifaq faces Al-Riyadh, and Al-Hilal faces Al-Faisaly. On Saturday, August 15, Al-Taawoun meets Al-Khaleej, Al-Ittihad meets Al-Kholood, and the round concludes with the match between defending champions Al-Nassr and Al-Fateh.
