The second round of the Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship 2026 will kick off next Friday on the Aqabat Al-Mohammedia track in the Al-Shafa area of Taif Governorate, under the supervision of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, managed by Bakhshab Motorsport, and in partnership with Jameel Motorsport.

Organizers explained that the second round follows fierce competition in the opening round, where racer Mamoun Amro Al-Qabbani topped the standings with a time of 3:28.936 minutes, ahead of Faisal Sufyan Al-Qabbani by 787 thousandths of a second, while Ahmed Al-Qaidi finished third, reflecting the close levels among competitors.

Track Details and Competition Program

The federation indicated that the round's competitions will include 10 categories plus the Women's Cup, on the Aqabat Al-Mohammedia track, which is 4.2 kilometers long, features 30 turns, and rises from approximately 1,900 meters to 2,150 meters above sea level, making it one of the most challenging hill climb tracks in the kingdom.

The organizing committee added that the round's program will begin on Friday with administrative checks and technical inspections of vehicles, along with a drivers' meeting and official practice sessions, followed by the first race. Competition will continue on Saturday with the final races, before crowning the winners in various categories.

Organizational Measures and Preparations for the Final

In the same context, it is noted that the first round saw the participation of 38 marshals in organizing the competitions and enhancing safety measures, ensuring the races proceeded according to the highest organizational and technical standards.

The Saudi Toyota Hill Climb Championship 2026 will conclude with the third and final round on the same track from July 31 to August 1.
