Al-Faisaly club has contracted with Senegalese Abdallah Sek to bolster the first team's defensive line for one season, as announced on Wednesday. The club welcomed its new player on its official account on platform 'X' and wrote: 'The impenetrable rock... unbreakable strength and invincible presence.' Sek, 34, became the third foreign player to join Al-Faisaly in the current summer transfer window after Cameroonian Christian Bassogog and Frenchman Alexandre Mendy. 'Al-Riyadiya' had revealed, citing private sources on Monday, that the Senegalese international was undergoing medical tests before officially signing with Al-Faisaly, to represent the team in the new season, explaining that the player arrived at the camp of the promoted team to the Saudi Roshen League in Slovenia on Sunday. Sek has moved between many European clubs, including Belgian Royal Antwerp, and has also made appearances for his country's national team, participating in 32 matches, most notably against Iraq where he scored a goal that ended in a clean 5-0 victory for the 'Lions of Teranga' in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
