Shock at Al-Hilal: Surgery Threat Looms for Al-Dawsari, Tambakti in Jeopardy
Al-Hilal faces injury crisis as Salem Al-Dawsari requires knee examination possibly leading to surgery, and Hassan Tambakti suffers tendon tear, with Mutab Al-Harbi needing eye surgery.
Al-Hilal and its fans received a strong shock after the medical staff announced the extent of injuries of some players, led by Salem Al-Dawsari, the captain of the "leader".
The recent participation of the Saudi national team in the World Cup finals saw many players injured, such as Salem Al-Dawsari and Hassan Tambakti, the Al-Hilal duo.
In a statement published by Al-Hilal, it clarified that Salem Al-Dawsari will undergo a medical examination by specialist Dr. Limainen on Monday, July 20, to follow up on his knee tendon injury.
The need for surgical intervention will be determined after the results of the examination appear, while his treatment and rehabilitation program is expected to last between 6 and 8 weeks.

Regarding Mutab Al-Harbi, the medical staff indicated that the player will undergo eye surgery in the coming days, and will be ready to participate in the preparatory program for the next sports season.
As for defender Hassan Tambakti, medical tests showed that he needs a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting from 6 to 7 weeks, after suffering a tear in the tendon of his right foot during his participation with the Saudi national team in the 2026 World Cup.
This medical follow-up comes within Al-Hilal's preparations for the next season, as the technical and medical staffs seek to prepare the injured players and ensure their readiness before the start of official competitions.
