Saudi club Al-Ahli announced the signing of midfielder Nayef Masoud from Al-Fateh, making it their fifth deal in the current summer transfer window.
Al-Ahli published a statement on its official website, confirming the signing of Nayef Masoud on a contract extending for the next 4 years, ending in 2030.
Masoud commented on the deal, saying: 'Joining Al-Ahli is an important step in my career. I am well aware of the value of this club and its great history, and I realize the responsibility towards its fans.'
He added: 'I will give everything I have on the pitch, and I hope to live up to expectations, and that we achieve successes befitting the name of Al-Ahli together.'
Nayef Masoud becomes the fifth deal made by 'Al-Raqi' during the current summer transfer window, following Gambian Abubakar Sidy Kinteh, Portuguese Francisco Trincão, Armenian Eduard Spertsyan, and Saudi Mishal Al-Mutairi.
Nayef Masoud began his career with Al-Qadsiah, where he was promoted to the first team in 2020, then moved to Al-Khaleej on loan in January 2024, and then to Al-Fateh in the summer of the same year.
During the past season, the 25-year-old participated in 27 matches with Al-Fateh in the Roshn Saudi League and the King Cup, scoring only one goal without providing any assists.
