(CNN)-- The Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, commented on the Spanish national team's victory in the 2026 World Cup.

The "Matador" team secured the title after defeating Argentina by a single goal in the final match, which was held at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Turki Al-Sheikh wrote on his X platform account on Monday night: "Congratulationnnnns they deserve it," and attached emojis to his post.

Alaa Mubarak, son of the late Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, also commented on the victory of Lamine Yamal's teammates in the World Cup.

Mubarak posted a picture of the Spanish national team and commented: "Congratulations Spain, we are all with Spain today."
