PUBG MOBILE, one of the world's leading mobile games and part of the Esports World Cup competitions, announced on Thursday in Paris, the French capital, the launch of its highly anticipated version 4.5 update, along with new experiences across various game modes. According to game officials in a press release, the new update—the largest in the game's history to date, available until September 7—introduces a Naruto Shippuden-themed game mode, upcoming collaborations including Scuderia Ferrari HP, as well as substantial additions to the 'Wonderworld' and 'Metro Royale' modes. Players can explore the Naruto world across various maps including Erangel, Livik, and Sanhok. The version 4.5 update also introduces new seasonal content and gameplay updates, allowing players to participate in Season 31, Ultimate Royale, the regular season, and the second half of 2026 season series, with a range of rewards, progression opportunities, and team-building activities throughout the update period.
