Urgent Development in Olise's Stance on Move to Real Madrid
In a harsh blow to Florentino Pérez's ambitions, Frenchman Michael Olise informed Bayern Munich's management of his intention not to leave the Bavarian club this summer, thus rejecting a move to Real Madrid, which is keen to sign him.
The German channel Sky reported that Olise, 24, confirmed to Bayern's management his desire to stay, thus denying rumors in French media that he had informed the club of his wish to leave for the Spanish capital.
The channel added that the French international and his agents have shown no desire to leave the Allianz Arena, despite the royal enticements offered by Real Madrid to persuade him to join their ranks.
Olise is under contract with Bayern Munich until 2029, giving the Bavarian club a strong negotiating position to reject any offers, regardless of their value, especially since the German management has explicitly stated its intention not to sell any of its stars.
In response, Bayern Munich is preparing to reward its French star's loyalty by renewing his contract and making him one of the three highest-paid players in the squad, in a move aimed at permanently closing the door on any future attempts by Real Madrid.
Despite officials in Munich being aware that Real Madrid represents a potential future option for Olise, they are betting on improving his financial terms and strengthening his status within the team to ensure his long-term stay.
Olise is one of Florentino Pérez's main summer targets, as he seeks to bolster Real Madrid's defense with a young star capable of competing at the highest levels, but the player's current stance puts Real's plans in a real bind.
