Real Madrid is seeking to sign Saudi Al-Nassr midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

A representative of the Spanish club made contact with the Croatian player's camp to explore his stance on a move to Madrid.

Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported that the communication has so far only reached the stage of sounding out and gathering information about Brozovic's (33) desire to take on a new challenge with Real Madrid.

The Croatian star has become available on the transfer market as a free agent following the end of his stint with Saudi Al-Nassr.

The report indicated that Real Madrid's management is studying the possibility of signing Brozovic on a one-year contract, should they decide to proceed with the deal.
